In 2014, and despite being close to retirement, Russell left the fire department and started Puroclean Emergency Restoration Services, Inc. Wanting to become a business owner again, Russell believed this industry would quench his entrepreneurial spirit while simultaneously fulfilling his need to help others and to serve his community. Russell prides himself on operating his franchise with the help of a highly competent, well trained, and professional team of emergency restoration specialists behind him.
Most importantly, because of his background as an emergency first responder, Russell has a deep understanding and compassion for those whose homes have been damaged or even destroyed and is always patient when helping them through the process of rebuilding their lives.
Russell’s work ethic and drive have contributed greatly to his professional and financial success, yet he never loses sight of what matters most – helping others. He is a constant supporter of various charitable organizations in the St. Augustine area, is a Board Member for Reconstructing Dreams which helps victims of violent crimes, and he often personally gives to others in need.
