Wilmington, N.C. – (November 2, 2020) – North Carolina resident Gerard Wynne has answered the call to serve his local community, becoming the designated local “Paramedic of Property Damage” with the opening of his new PuroClean franchise located in Wilmington, North Carolina. Wynne will lead a team of highly trained technicians to help home and business owners with water, fire, mold, and other property damage, 24/7. PuroClean of Wilmington will primarily serve New Hanover County, including Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Topsail Island, and Hampstead, among others.

“When I initially embarked on my PuroClean journey, I had the opportunity to work alongside my uncle, Robert Romero, a 13-year PuroClean franchise owner, and under his guidance, I quickly rose up the ranks from technician to project manager,” said Wynne. “Over the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of learning about the PuroClean franchise system, and I’m honored to take over ownership as my uncle looks forward to retirement, we will continue to provide relentless customer service to our community.

A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Wynne joins PuroClean, having served in the military since he was 18 years old, where he traveled the country from New Jersey to Texas to Ohio and Michigan. During his military career, Wynne has served in leadership positions working as a law enforcement officer on the United States-Mexico border in the Gulf of Mexico. Following his service in the military, Wynne moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, where he has been a resident for the last three years, learning about the restoration and remediation industry from his family.
