SOUTHLAKE, Texas – (October 10, 2021) – Local business owners Jiri and
Hayley Smetana have opened PuroClean of Southlake, bringing 24/7 water damage,
fire and smoke restoration, mold, and biohazard removal services to their Tarrant
County community. With the opening of their PuroClean business, the newly
designated “Paramedics of Property Damage” will lead a team of highly trained
technicians to address property damage resulting from severe weather, house fires,
appliance malfunctions, and more. PuroClean of Southlake will service the
Southlake suburb of Texas.
“Hayley and I have been looking to expand into a service brand for a while, and
through our research, we were impressed with PuroClean’s track record and the
work many franchisees did during the winter storm earlier this year in Texas,” said
Jiri. “It’s inspiring to see businesses give back to their community, and we want to
be a part of that. We are inspired to open a business that residents in Southlake
know they can depend on.”
The Smetanas are seasoned entrepreneurs, with PuroClean being their first service-
based business. The pair currently own two Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas
in North Dallas. Jiri comes from a background in patent law and holds a Chemical
Engineering degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a Law
degree from the Syracuse University College of Law. After working in the public
sector, he made the switch to patent litigation and settled with his family in the
Dallas area. Originally from South Africa, Hayley holds a degree in Psychology from
Oakland University, previously working as a teacher for students with special needs.
In 2014, the Smetanas started their spa business, which has seen consistent growth
in both locations over the past seven years.
