PuroClean Privacy Policy

PuroSystems, LLC d/b/a PuroClean (“PuroClean,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.puroclean.com and related pages, including local franchise pages (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Each PuroClean franchise is independently owned and operated. A franchise that operates its own website or text program may post its own privacy policy, which will govern its practices.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you submit a service request, contact form, franchise inquiry, job application, or SMS opt-in, we collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number, including mobile number
  • Email address
  • Property address and details about your service request
  • Your SMS consent preferences, and the date, time, and method of your consent
  • Any other information you choose to give us

Information we collect automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type, device type, operating system, and device identifiers
  • Referring URLs and exit pages
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and other interactions with the Site
  • General location derived from your IP address
  • Other standard web traffic, analytics, and usage data

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, grouped into categories (for example, necessary, functional, analytics, performance, and advertising). We manage cookies through a consent tool provided by CookieYes. When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you accept or reject non-necessary cookies by category. It also lists the cookies in each category. You can change your choices at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no uniform standard for these signals, the Site does not respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 8.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Respond to service requests and route them to the PuroClean franchise serving your area
  • Schedule, provide, and follow up on restoration services
  • Send service, appointment, and order updates by email, phone, or text
  • Send marketing messages, including automated texts, where you have consented
  • Respond to franchise and employment inquiries
  • Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site
  • Protect the security of the Site and prevent fraud
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms

4. Text Messaging (SMS/MMS)

If you give us your mobile number and check the SMS consent box, you expressly agree to receive automated text messages (SMS/MMS) from PuroClean or the PuroClean franchise named in the consent. These may include service and order updates, appointment reminders, and marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Reply STOP to any message, email [email protected], or call 800-775-7876. Reply HELP for help. After you opt out, you may receive one message confirming your request.

No sharing of mobile information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of sharing described in this Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

  • With franchisees. We share your contact and service request information with the independently owned PuroClean franchise serving your area so it can respond to your request and provide services. This sharing does not include your SMS opt-in data or consent, except where the franchise is the sender named in your consent.
  • With service providers. We share information with vendors that work on our behalf. These include website hosting (WP Engine), messaging (Clarity Voice), analytics, cookie consent management, and customer relationship management. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Through cookies. Analytics and advertising partners may collect information through cookies on the Site, subject to your cookie choices.
  • For legal reasons. We share information to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of PuroClean, our franchisees, users, or others.
  • In a business transfer. We may transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
  • With your consent. We share information at your direction or with your consent.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The Site is hosted in the United States. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy. That includes keeping records of consent and opt-out requests, and meeting legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and correction. You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you.
  • Deletion. You may ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Marketing emails. Use the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email.
  • Text messages. Reply STOP, or contact us as described in Section 4.
  • Cookies. Use the “Cookie Settings” link.
  • Opt-out preference signals. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of cookies used for targeted advertising in that browser.

Residents of certain states may have additional rights under state privacy laws. These can include the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising, and the right to appeal our decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. 9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including independent franchise websites and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new Effective Date. For material changes, we will provide notice on the Site. Please review this Policy regularly.
