Fort Lauderdale, FL – March 31, 2008 – While the PuroClean franchise system continues to grow at record levels and make national headlines with its award-winning best practices in franchisee support, the company also continues to attract world-class talent at its home office to support the unprecedented growth and the vision of its President and Chief Operating Officer. In fact, PuroClean announced today it has added three senior level executives to its management team, each with extensive backgrounds at Fortune 500 companies.

PuroClean, which opened 76 new locations and pulled in nearly $60 million in consumer sales last year, is seeking to build on that momentum by proactively focusing on continuously improving sales medians, marketing tools and training technology for new and existing franchisees. The new positions support those objectives.
The three new PuroClean executives include:

  • Kelly DuPree, formerly Senior Director of Integrated Sales and Marketing with AlphaGraphics, has filled the newly created position of PuroClean’s Vice President of Sales/Support. DuPree, who brings more than 25 years of sales experience to PuroClean, was known as the “rainmaker” at AlphaGraphics, where she delivered consistent franchisee performance results for the respected franchise brand.
  • Marci Kleinsasser, an award-winning marketing leader with 20 years of proven success for start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, was hired as PuroClean’s new Director of National Marketing. Kleinsasser previously served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Coverall Cleaning Concepts (approximately 9,000 franchisees). Prior to Coverall, Kleinsasser served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Benihana.
  • Tracy Hetrick has been tapped to fill the new Director of Training position. His previous business experiences included serving as Vice President of Training and Development for Trend & Rocksolid Granite, Manager of Program Development for Burger King Restaurants, and Field Training Manager for Denny’s Restaurants.

“It is a joy to watch our new team members gel with our proven historic performers,” said Keith Gerson, President and COO of PuroClean. “Adding these highly regarded professionals to our existing pool of talent is a winning combination. Collectively, their wealth of experience is like an insurance policy for continued growth and success of the PuroClean system.”

PuroClean is an emergency restoration service business providing services to insurance companies and property owners for water damage, mold, smoke, fire clean up, and biohazard events. The award-winning national franchise has earned the reputation as The Paramedics of Property Damage by property owners and insurance agents, who often view PuroClean’s emergency service technicians like paramedics or firefighters for the important role they play in protecting communities 24 hours a day.

PuroClean was recently awarded the World Class Franchise™ designation for the third consecutive year from the Franchise Research Institute®, an independent third party company that surveys franchise owners’ opinions and experiences with their franchise concepts. PuroClean earned extremely high scores in categories such as “Franchisor Relations” and “Quality of Service”. By adding the new senior level positions, PuroClean will continue to offer a solid foundation for support and hold true to its commitment to balancing system growth with franchisee success.
