As the Paramedics of Property Damage ®, PuroClean helps families and businesses recover from devastating property damage. Our franchise owners are dedicated to helping their communities throughout the year with emergency restoration services.
Yet, you’ll find many PuroClean offices across the country helping their communities in a different way. Each year for Thanksgiving and Christmas, many of our offices host food drives to benefit local non-profit organizations dedicated to serving those in need.
No one should go through the problem of not having enough food to feed their families. That’s why we do what we can to help those who need help the most. Here are notable examples of PuroClean food drives from the 2018 holiday season.
Every Thanksgiving, Rick Gutridge’s PuroClean of Columbus, OH team hosts a food drive for the Byron Saunders Foundation. They reach out to insurance agents to which they market and they kindly donate a generous amount of food. Last holiday season, Rick’s team collected enough items for 150 families in addition to $625 in gift certificates to purchase food.
Jeff Rush’s office at PuroClean of Greenfield, IN teamed up with LOVE Inc., a local faith-based charity, to bring holiday cheer to needy families through the Hancock County Christmas Connection program. The company sponsored two families, with employees purchasing a combined total of nearly $400 in gifts for the families. They also gifted the families an additional $300 each for food and gasoline with Kroger gift cards.
Jeff Rush’s office also hosted their first food drive, passing out bags to insurance agents in their service area for their help to collect food. The agencies gladly supported this good cause. By the end of the food drive, they raised 1085.2 pounds of food that was delivered to 13 food pantries during the holiday season.
Mark Mazzoleni’s PuroClean of Green Bay, WI office hosted their annual food drive in November and December to benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. They teamed up with insurance agent partners in their service area. The agencies’ generosity greatly helped gather plenty of food for those who needed it most. Proceeds from the food drive went to local pantries, meal programs, and churches.
Becky Edgren’s Moraine, OH PuroClean office’s annual food drive was another big success. They collected over 2,000 pounds of food which was donated to various food pantries in their service areas.
Food drives like these make us extremely proud of our franchise owners and the positive light they spread in their communities. Hoping to bring more joy to needy families across the U.S., we endorse any form of charity that helps people overcome adversity.
