Tamarac, FL (January 28, 2008) – PuroClean, the nation’s fastest growing property damage remediation franchise, announced today that it has reached the pivotal 200th location milestone, following a year of unprecedented franchise growth that added 76 new locations in 2007 alone.
The 2007 growth surpassed the company’s previous record of opening 56 new units set in 2005. PuroClean is an emergency restoration service business providing services to insurance companies and property owners for water damage, mold, smoke, fire clean up, and biohazard events. The award-winning national franchise has earned the reputation as ‘The Paramedics of Property Damage’ by property owners and insurance agents, who often view PuroClean’s emergency service technicians as being similar to rescuers for the important role they play in protecting communities 24 hours a day.
“Reaching the 200-office mark is a significant milestone for our company, and for our franchise partners as it illustrates the increasing momentum of the PuroClean brand and system in the marketplace,” said Keith
Gerson, President and COO of PuroClean. “We have struck a chord with insurance companies, entrepreneurs and property owners around the nation, by standing out from our competitors as the brand that takes extra steps to calm people’s nerves and restore order to their lives during traumatic and stressful experiences. Most important, we’re one of the few franchise systems in America that proves it can grow at a fast pace without sacrificing existing franchisee satisfaction.”
Gerson is referring to PuroClean’s third consecutive year of winning the World Class Franchise™ designation from the Franchise Research Institute®, an independent third party company that surveys franchise owners’ opinions and experiences with their franchise concepts. PuroClean earned extremely high scores in categories such as “Franchisor Relations” and “Quality of Service.”
Jeff Johnson, founder and CEO of the Franchise Research Institute® said that rapid growth and high franchisee satisfaction is a rare combination because often franchisors that are focusing on expanding their systems lose touch with their existing franchisees’ needs. “Seldom do we see such rapid growth within a franchise system, and statistically significant positive score increases in key survey questions,” he said.
Holding true to its commitment to balancing system growth with franchisee success, PuroClean hired Kelly DuPree, formerly Senior Director of Integrated Sales and Marketing with AlphaGraphics, to fill the newly created position of Vice President of Franchise Sales. DuPree, who brings more than 25 years of sales experience to PuroClean, will proactively focus on continuously improving sales for new and existing franchisees. While PuroClean currently has a staff of 29 corporate employees, the company will add four more positions to compensate for their unprecedented growth.
