Jackie and Sandra Copeland, owners of PuroClean Restoration Cleaning, answer the questions for today’s Small Business Snapshot:
What is the primary purpose of your business? PuroClean’s primary purpose is to provide cleaning services to the Northwest Georgia area. We offer water, fire, mold and bio-hazard remediation. In addition, we also provide air duct cleaning and upholstery and carpet cleaning.
What is your business background?
We previously owned another cleaning franchise for 20 years. After selling the business, we researched PuroClean and found it to be a reputable and quality company. We opened our PuroClean office in 2012 serving Rome and all of Northwest Georgia.
Why did you start this particular business?
We enjoy owning and operating a restoration company. After selling our previous company, the reputation and quality offered by PuroClean made the decision to re-enter the restoration cleaning field easy.
 What makes your business unique?
Our customer service makes us unique. Puroclean’s mission statement “When property damage occurs, Puroclean is driven to provide unmatched service experience quickly, professionally, ethically and with compassion, resulting in peace of mind for all concerned,” epitomizes what PuroClean of Rome represents.
What do you enjoy most about your chosen profession?
We enjoy the unique opportunity to not only go out and meet the people of Rome and Northwest Georgia, but also the chance to assist them in their time of need.
What has been the biggest challenge to overcome as a small business owner?
Marketing our business has to date been the biggest challenge. We would like the opportunity for even more of the community to know we are here for them in their time of need.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
We love living and working in the Rome area and strive to always allow that pride to come across in each job we do.
