We hoped we'd never have to imagine a storm worse than Hurricane Irene in 2011. We hoped we'd never have to face down destruction likes what Superstorm Sandy brought to the Garden State. Unfortunately, nature doesn't always cooperate.
A month after New Jersey battened down the hatches in face of "Frankenstorm," we are all still working together to deal with the destruction.

Nevertheless, despite the heat and the mud, we are grateful we have had the opportunity to help within the communities that have embraced us and our families.

Even now that national news stations have stopped covering the Sandy damage, please continue to support the Red Cross as it continues to assist those people still displaced from this disaster.
