PuroClean marked a major milestone this year, celebrating its 25th anniversary during the brand’s 2026 International Convention in Hollywood, Florida. The annual gathering brought together Franchise Owners, Home Office leadership, SPAR partners, insurance partners, and industry professionals to recognize achievements across the network while outlining the company’s vision for the future.
Held under the theme “25 Years of Excellence: Legacy On The Move,” the event focused on leadership, innovation, franchise support, and continued investment in technology designed to strengthen PuroClean businesses throughout North America.
Celebrating 25 Years of Service Excellence
The 2026 Convention celebrated not only the company’s history but also the people and partnerships that have contributed to its continued growth.
“We are proud to bring our Franchise Owners, Home Office team members, and SPAR vendor partners together each year to learn, collaborate, and celebrate the accomplishments that continue to move our brand forward,” said Steve White, President of PuroClean. “As we celebrate 25 years of excellence, this year’s Convention reinforced that our legacy continues to be built through continuous growth, innovation, and a shared commitment to serving our customers and communities. The energy, ideas, and engagement throughout the week demonstrated the strength of our network and the shared vision driving PuroClean into the future.”
PuroClean’s leadership shared updates on strategic initiatives intended to help Franchise Owners succeed in an evolving restoration industry.
President Steve White emphasized collaboration, operational excellence, and community engagement as key drivers for long-term success. Chairman & CEO Mark W. Davis highlighted continued investments in technology, training, business development, and industry leadership to support growth.
One recurring theme was the importance of a strong culture of marketing and sales. Another topic discussed throughout the event was preparing for an AI-powered future while maintaining the customer-first approach that has defined the PuroClean brand for 25 years.
“The only way to measure the success of our annual PuroClean International Convention is to talk to our Franchise Owners and vendor partners and listen to their comments. Based on the positive feedback we received regarding the education, the venue, the speakers, the entertainment, the food, the vendor partner engagement, the insurance partner participation, and most of all the friendship and fellowship we all shared, it was a tremendous success. What a wonderful way to celebrate PuroClean’s 25th year as a brand,” said Davis. “The educational sessions, networking opportunities, and awards celebration were a great reminder of the strength and commitment of our Franchise Owner community. Frank Torre and I, along with the entire leadership team, remain focused on supporting the continued growth of the brand. We will continue investing in technology and innovation, embracing the RIA’s Code of Ethics defining the Ethical Restorer, and upholding the values of servant leadership and Relentless Customer Service that define PuroClean’s culture, including our long-standing commitment to veterans. We look forward to building on the momentum that will carry PuroClean into our next 25 years.”
Leadership Lessons from Military Veterans
Leadership remained a central focus of this year’s Convention.
A featured fireside discussion brought together White, a former U.S. Army Captain, along with retired military leaders Brigadier General Richard “Dick” Miller and Major General Cornell A. Wilson Jr. Their conversation explored leadership principles, teamwork, and service, values that closely align with PuroClean’s company culture and can be scaled beyond military service.
Former U.S. Navy Commander and bestselling author Mike Abrashoff delivered the keynote presentation, sharing practical leadership strategies centered on empowering teams and improving organizational performance.
Special Recognition for Longtime PuroClean Leaders
One of the most memorable moments of Convention was the recognition of two individuals whose contributions have helped shape the company.
White became the first inductee into the PuroClean Hall of Fame and received ‘The Rock Star Award’ in recognition of his leadership and dedication to the brand’s success.
Affectionately known as “Employee #1”, Chrissy VanderWyde, received the inaugural ‘Beacon Award’, honoring her longstanding presence, support, guidance, and insight.
