Restoration and Remediation Franchise Awards Sonia Gonzalez for Success and Contribution to the PuroClean Franchise Owner Network
Glendale, CO (August 2, 2019) – Sonia Gonzalez, owner of PuroClean of Central Denver in Denver, Colorado, was awarded PuroClean’s Rainmaker award at the company’s international convention held recently at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan.
“It feels great to have made such a significant impact in the short time that we have been part of the PuroClean family,” said Gonzalez. “We are excited to continue growing our business and proving support for our community, while making a difference in the PuroClean Network.”
Selected from more than 280 franchises across North America, Gonzalez was nominated for this accolade by fellow franchise owners as a colleague who balances her desire for success with the needs of the network, the franchise organization, and her fellow franchise owners, and has made a contribution toward the success of others. As an experienced business owner, Gonzalez has offered support in marketing and sales efforts, as well as by helping to translate the PuroClean website into Spanish, opening the brand to a new customer segment.
Prior to joining PuroClean, Gonzales was involved in several business endeavors in her home country, Colombia. She worked in sales and marketing at Procter & Gamble before transitioning out of the corporate world. Together with her father and husband, Tomas Mejia, the trio opened their own farm where they raised pigs and harvested tomato plants. She holds a degree in international business and moved to the United States in 2018 to open the PuroClean franchise with Mejia.
