HUNTINGTON, N.Y. – (April 17, 2021) – Huntington, NY residents and father-son duo Sam and Silvio Grenga have answered the call to serve their local community with the opening of their new PuroClean franchise. As Huntington’s designated “Paramedics of Property Damage,” the Grengas will lead a team of highly trained technicians, helping home and business owners with water, fire, mold, and biohazard removal. PuroClean of Huntington will also offer COVID-19 sanitation due to the increased demand for this service.
“I’m so proud to embark upon this new endeavor with my father, as he will offer critical day-to-day operational support for our new business, and this will also allow us the opportunity to spend quality time together,” said Silvio. “We are prepared to help our neighbors navigate some difficult situations, and I’m thrilled we can do that as part of the PuroClean network. Property damage is something that both home and business owners encounter regularly, regardless of location or weather conditions, and my father and I know from living and working in the Huntington area that there are a variety of challenges facing our community.”
Based in Long Island, NY, the Grengas join PuroClean with many years of entrepreneurial experience behind them. Silvio earned a Master’s degree in Education from Dowling College and began his career as the owner of a local restaurant. Sam, a long-time business owner, taught his son the ins and outs of running a family business. With Sam’s guidance and support, Silvio transitioned into the transportation industry, working as the operations manager of a multimillion-dollar company. In search of new opportunities, the duo found PuroClean and began a joint venture to open a franchise in their hometown. As residents and small business owners within the very community they will serve through PuroClean, the Grengas’ mission is a personal one.
