PuroClean of San Rafael joined the Town of Corte Madera’s Flood Preparedness Fair on Saturday, October 24, 2026, helping local residents and business owners get ready for this winter’s flood season. The free public event ran from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Cove School, 330 Golden Hind Passage in Corte Madera, and drew an estimated 250 attendees.

Why the fair mattered this year

The Town organized the fair to give the community information and resources ahead of fall king tides and the expected impacts of El Niño. High tides had already flooded local streets in the weeks before the event, and the Town reported hearing from residents frequently about flooding concerns.

Attendees could explore flood protection options for their property, from temporary flood barriers to home raising, and pick up preparedness resources from public safety officials.

Our role at the fair

As a participating exhibitor, PuroClean of San Rafael hosted a table where our team shared its professional expertise in flood preparedness and recovery. We talked with homeowners and business owners about how to protect their properties before water arrives, and what to do in the first hours after a flood to limit damage.

Known as “The Paramedics of Property Damage,” our team is available 24/7 when property damage strikes. Events like this let us share that knowledge before an emergency, when it can do the most good.

Thank you, Corte Madera

We’re grateful to Phoebe Goulden, Climate Action and Adaptation Coordinator for the Town of Corte Madera, and the Town’s staff for organizing the fair and supporting our participation. It was a privilege to stand alongside public safety officials and fellow local experts to help our neighbors prepare.
