BURLINGTON, WI — Local PuroClean co-owners Jessie and Jennifer Wine were recently recognized as the inaugural Public Relations Excellence Award winners at the annual PuroClean International Convention. The Wines, co-owners of PuroClean of Burlington, were selected from the brand’s network of nearly 500 franchise locations across North America for their timely responses, in-depth answers, and going above and beyond for the brand’s PR Partner, Franchise Elevator PR, to garner media opportunities.

“This award came as a big surprise,” said Jessie. “Franchise Elevator reached out to us a few times to tell our story, and so we did. We’re veterans, and we just did our service and weren’t expecting anything.”

“One of the big things I like to tell everybody is that we really had a very big community, and having left the military, it kind of left a hole of that need to be around people, like-minded people, and when we came to visit PuroClean for the first time, I felt like I had that community again, so thank you,” Jennifer added.

The Public Relations Excellence Award is a new accolade that celebrates exceptional franchise owners within the PuroClean network who help maintain a positive public image in their local community and nationwide. Showcasing the leadership team, franchise partners, and community giveback campaigns to the public and the media helps to push the PuroClean brand forward. The brand’s core pillars – servant leadership, active collaboration, and extreme ownership – are all exemplified by the Wines. They were committed to working with the company’s PR partner to share their background with the press transparently, fill out in-depth questionnaires, and share their journey with PuroClean.

“The Wines have a strong service mindset that has helped them not only succeed in aiding their community but also helped PuroClean gain national media attention,” said PuroClean President and COO Steve White. “This recognition underscores their abilities to go above and beyond with our PR partner and their commitment to helping the overall network. We hope more franchise owners can take advantage of PR in the upcoming year and help grow our brand.”

The Wine’s PR focus was on their military service, which garnered attention from multiple publications. Their story has been featured in national outlets such as U.S. Veterans Magazine, Connecting Vets, and Franchise Consultant Magazine. Their military background and journey to PuroClean have been central themes, and they’ve been open and transparent in sharing their experiences. The Wines have excelled in live interviews and provided detailed written responses. The coverage includes extensive two-page spreads filled with insightful commentary and various photos. Notably, the Connecting Vets article also highlights Steve White alongside the Wines, showcasing their willingness and strengths to work alongside leadership.
