Mastering Techniques: The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Training Experience

Recently, our team completed an intensive Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) training program at PuroClean’s Home Office in Tamarac, Florida. From June 5th to the 9th, 2023, the week-long event taught us how to handle hazardous situations safely. 

The AMRT training covered a wide range of topics that focused on proper techniques for SERENA containment, maintaining the integrity of the work environment, and preventing cross-contamination. The flood house, specifically designed for such purposes, allowed us to simulate real-world scenarios and gain hands-on experience in tackling water damage restoration and microbial remediation. It enabled us to refine our skills and familiarize ourselves with the equipment, techniques, and protocols necessary for successful remediation projects.
